Moving a large house
The town of Malmberget (literally meaning "the Ore Mountain") dating back to the late 1800s is being demolished, due to the underying mine is expanding. Residents and businesses are being relocated to other locations within the municipality of Gällivare.
This is a process that has been taking place for decades.
During that period, several houses and other buildings have been moved to the nearby town of Gällivare (main hub of the municipality of the same name), and smaller villages surroundibg Gällivare.
