Delhi's air quality continues to deteriorate due to increasing pollution, dust and stubble burning in Punjab and Haryana neighboring states.

This footage, filmed yesterday (November 3), shows the suffocating fog in the city's India Gate and Akshardham areas.

The overall Air Quality Index (AQI) of Delhi stands above 350, but some areas hit nearly 400.

With air pollution worsening in the capital, Delhi's authorities halted all construction work and demolition activities until further notice. Primary schools will shut from tomorrow (November 4).

Delhi's air quality continued to remain in the 'very poor' category on Thursday As well . The overall Air Quality Index (AQI) of the city stood above 350 , in some areas it had crossed 400. With air pollution worsening in the national capital, Delhi authorities halted all construction work and demolition activities till further orders. Main reasons said to be increasing pollution during this time is stubble burning in neighbouring states olike Punjab and Haryana .
In National capital neighbouring districts also Air quality continues to dip -Air Quality Index (AQI) presently at 393 in Noida (UP) in 'Very Poor' category,318 in Gurugram (Haryana) in 'Very Poor' category& 333 near Delhi Airport T3 in 'Very Poor' category Delhi's overall AQI currently at 346(Very Poor category)
