Dozens of poppy wreaths arrived in from railway stations taking part in the Routes of Remembrance and Poppies to Paddington commemoration ahead of the Armistice Day service taking place in Paddington Station (November 11).

Veterans and station staff at towns and cities across the Great Western Railway (GWR) network placed the wreaths on board trains travelling towards the London terminus.

Armistice Day marks the end of hostilities between the Allies and Germany on the 11th hour, on the 11th month on the 11th day.
