A speeding car flew into the sky after crashing into a toll gate in northern China.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Dalian in Liaoning Province on November 24 shows a car speeding into a toll gate bumper and flying into the sky.

The car then landed back onto the ground upside-down, causing the motorist to get trapped inside.

Firefighters used tools to open the car door and carried the motorist out.

After around 20 minutes, an ambulance and paramedics arrived and they sent the motorist to hospital.

The cause of the accident is being investigated by the police.

11月24日20时许，辽宁大连，沈大高速石河收费站发生一起交通事故，一辆轿车撞到收费站出口的路墩后，车辆飞起随后翻扣在路面上。事故导致轿车驾驶室严重变形，驾驶员被困在车内出不来，司机意识模糊，救援工作刻不容缓。
三十里堡消防救援站接到群众报警立即赶往现场，消防员通过工具打开轿车车门，合力将驾驶员从车内抬出，随后放置在安全地带。消防员还找来被子盖在伤者身上取暖，其间不间断呼唤伤者，防止伤者睡着，同时安排一组消防员对过往车辆进行警示。大约20分钟后，120急救人员到场，消防员将伤者移交给急救人员送往医院救治。
目前，警方正在对事故原因做进一步调查。
