A cool video has emerged from China of a third-year college student making a go-kart by himself to avoid being late for class.

In the footage, filmed in Sichuan Province last week, the young man can be seen driving a blue go-kart around the campus.

According to news reports, the owner and maker Guo Ke was in his third ​year of the course - Mechanical Manufacturing.

He had spent nearly three years getting bored of the 30 minute walk to uni, so during the summer holidays he spent £350 building the vehicle.
