A quick-thinking motorcycle rider leapt from his bike to stop a head-on crash.

The rider was approaching a junction when the SUV on the opposite lane made a turn in Cebu province, the Philippines on March 9.

Both vehicles tried to slow down but the distance was too narrow prompting him to do the amazing stunt.

CCTV footage shows the man jumping off his two-wheeler before it crashed onto the car,

Pancho Ramirez Jr who found the video while reviewing street cameras said: ‘I hope more drivers will be aware passing through an intersection. It's an accident-prone area.'

The rider sprained his ankle from the incident but no one was seriously hurt from the collision. The SUV and the motorcycle were scratched as well.

Pancho added: Please be careful. ‘I'm sure not everyone can think quickly like the rider and do the same stunt.'
