A mesmerising river with crystal clear water attracts tourists in Thailand.

The off-the-beaten-track destination is hidden within a forest and only known as Khlong Rood by locals in Krabi province, Thailand.

Visitors can take a kayak and explore the waterways that connect lakes and lagoons where they can see many species of pitcher plants, orchids, and lilies.

Footage shows a holidaymaker paddling across the natural wonder. The water is so clear that the creatures underneath are visible from the vessel.

Tourist Piriya said: ‘I recommend people to come and experience Khlong Rood for themselves. It was a memorable activity for me.'

Aside from kayaking, visitors can also plunge into the shallow water for some snorkelling.
