A window struck three pedestrians after falling from the first floor of a residential building in southern China.

Terrifying CCTV footage filmed in the city of Luzhou in Sichuan Province on March 31 shows a glass window suddenly falling and hitting a mother and her two children standing under a residential building.

Nearby people called the police and an ambulance immediately.

The mother suffered skull and shoulder fractures but she is not in a life-threatening condition and was hospitalised for treatment. The two children only had minor scratches.

The video was provided by local media with permission.

3月31日，四川泸州。一小区2楼的窗户掉落砸中楼下3人。居委会回应称系窗户老旧，关窗时脱落，被砸大人正在治疗，诊断为骨裂正住院治疗，已脱离生命危险，2名小孩轻微擦伤身体无大碍。目前，当事业主已与伤者协商处理，社区已督促物业排查小区窗户隐患。
据该小区一名知情人士介绍，事发晚上7点48分左右，1号楼临街面的2楼有人在推拉玻璃窗时，玻璃窗突然掉落，正好楼下有一位年轻的母亲和两个孩子在玩耍，掉落的玻璃窗砸中三人。附近人员立即拨打了110及120，随后物业工作人员也赶到现场，查询资料与业主取得联系，并将情况报告社区。
4月1日，小区物业管理人在业主群通报： “事后我们赶到派出所了解详细过程，主要了解伤者受伤状态，初步情况是脑骨骨裂、肩骨骨折，正在检查中。经与该住户联系，伤者已经脱离危险，转到住院部。感谢大家的关心，在此物业提醒各位业主，请自行对自家的窗户进行安全检查，及时更换或者是维护，如需要请与物业联系，以免再次发生类似的事件。”
