LNG tanker arrives from Nigeria to supply UK with gas
Huge LNG tanker SK Audace arrived in the UK this morning (April 5) bringing a cargo of gas from Nigeria, West Africa to the Isle of Grain, England, as British households continue to face increasing energy bills.
The nearly 300-metre-long vessel was seen passing Garrison Point Fort, Sheerness moments before berthing at the National Grid's Isle of Grain LNG facility.
The gas is transported as LNG which makes the gas safer and more efficient to transport.
Gas prices are not expected to return to pre energy-crisis levels for three years according to investment group Stifel.
