The condition of the Pal Putih Monument is entering 3 centuries which is an icon of the Province of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
Tugu Jogja was built in 1755 by Sri Sultan Hamangku Buwono I, founder of the Yogyakarta palace. The monument has a symbolic value and is a magical line because it connects the South Sea, Yogyakarta Palace and Mount Merapi.
This monument is right in the middle of the intersection of Prince Mangkubumi Street, Jendral Soedirman Street, AM Sangaji Street and Diponegoro Street. Tugu Jogja, which is almost 3 centuries old, has a deep meaning and at the same time holds several historical records of the city of Jogja.
The monument is known as De White Paal or Tugu Pal Putih. The height of the monument is 15 meters or 10 meters lower than its original shape (25 meters)
