A heroic babysitter in Shanghai, China saved a baby from a dangerous fall after a stroller suddenly overturned.

CCTV footage, filmed on April 11, shows a caregiver pushing a stroller out of the kitchen.

In a split second, the stroller suddenly lost its balance and tipped over, threatening to send the innocent baby headlong to the ground.

However, in a remarkable display of agility and quick thinking, the babysitter managed to catch the stroller and prevented any harm from coming to the infant.

The relieved mother, Cai, confirmed that her 6-month-old baby was secured by a safety belt and thankfully suffered no injuries.

Footage filmed on April 11 in Shanghai shows a woman carefully pushing a stroller to enter the house.

The stroller, however, suddenly broke and lost its balance while crossing the threshold.

The child-care worker instantly held the pram to avoid consequential damage to the infant.

According to Cai, the mother, the 6-month-old was wearing the safety belt and was unhurt.
