Electric three-wheeler drags pedestrian for several metres after rope tangles her foot in China
A woman was dragged along a road by an electric three-wheeler after getting her foot tangled in a rope attached to the vehicle in eastern China.
Shocking video filmed in Fuyang City, Anhui Province on May 8, shows a three-wheeler, driven by a man identified as Guo, making a right turn and failing to notice a woman crossing the pedestrian crossing.
The rope tied to the vehicle caught the woman's foot, causing her to fall to the ground and be dragged for a distance of two or three metres before the driver stopped.
The woman suffered minor injuries and was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.
The local traffic police have investigated the incident and concluded that Guo was fully responsible for the incident.
