Speeding truck loses control, hits army vehicle due to rainfall in northern India

Heavy rainfall in northern India's Jammu and Kashmir led a speeding truck to lose control and hit an army vehicle.

The incident happened near the National Highway in Nambal, Awantipora in south Kashmir's Pulwama district on May 24.

CCTV footage captured the chilling moment when the truck skidded and rammed straight into the CRPF vehicle. The truck was passing through an opposite road when it lost control and skidded. And because of the slippery road, it went straight into the army vehicle. According to a report, this accident has left three CRPF personnel injured.

Due to over speed, the truck driver lost control over the wheel and rammed into the CRPF vehicle," an official said. The injured CRPF personnel, belonging to 130 battalion. They were shifted to a medical facility and fortunately, they are in stable condition. The police have taken note of this incident and begun an investigation.
