A resident's house has become a local tourist attraction after he made a garden wall built entirely out of old bicycles.

Norkaew Singkaew, 56, recycled the disused two-wheelers to erect the 66ft long bright orange fence along his property in Phayao province, Thailand. Stacks of tires and bikes separate his residence from the adjacent road.

Passers-by and tourists now take photos of the unique wall to post on their social media feeds.

The creative local said: 'I bought more than 30 old bikes and 50 bike tires, which I painted orange to build the wall. I collect and sell junk items, so I thought, why not use bicycles instead of bricks to make the fence? It was both creative and cost-effective.'

He added that he chose the colour orange to match the paint on his house.

Norkaew said: 'The fence has become an interesting attraction for travellers. It's also been very useful because delivery couriers can easily locate my house.'
