Bookworms enjoyed alcoholic drinks while browsing through stalls at the 'Books and Beers 2023' fair in Bangkok.
Visitors flocked to the Singha Complex in the Thai capital to pore through stacks of tomes from all genres - from encyclopedias, fiction, light novels, and Thai literature.
With the theme 'KEEP CALM, READ A Book And DRINK BEER', various libations like Korean soju and canned beers were available to drink while listening to seminars and author meet-and-greets at the venue.
Aside from discounted book sales, there were also arts and craft stores selling quaint items like cassette players, tattoos, film cameras, as well as handcrafted products from various local artisans.
Those not in a bookish mood can stay at a seating area and enjoy their beverage while listening to live band performances.
A 'book rap' competition was also held where participants can showcase their rapping skills.
Books and Beers 2023 will run from July 21 to 30, from 11 am to 9 pm at the Singha Complex in Bangkok, Thailand.
