Terrifying hooded cobra hisses at workers at Thai radio broadcasting office
A terrifying hooded cobra hissed at workers at a Thai radio broadcasting office.
Footage shows the 2ft-long venomous serpent threatening onlookers at the building's ground floor lobby in Sakhon Nakhon province, Thailand on May 16.
The creature motioned to attack one of the employees and was seen being hurtled out front.
It was later caught by colleagues and secured inside a sack before being turned over to wildlife officers.
Researchers found that 7,000 people are treated for snake bites each year in Thailand. Suchai Suteparuk from the Division of Toxicology at Chulalongkorn University reported that 30 of those die, with cobras being the biggest killer.
