Spooky Voices Mortuary UK
By Shannine O’Neill
**EXCLUSIVE**
DISEMBODIED VOICES have supposedly been heard by a caretaker of this abandoned mortuary which has made him and other staff refuse to enter the building out of fear it is haunted.
Eerie images and footage show the log book holding the names, ages, possessions and burial preference of people who have unfortunately come through the building before it was abandoned.
Other images show the still-intact waiting area filled with religious relics that looks like it was still being used today.
He also filmed the old refrigerators where corpses were stored before cremation or burial, now thankfully empty but gathering dust.
Ben James (32) from Cambridge, UK who works in the medical field explored an abandoned mortuary in Surrey, UK where staff refused to clean out because of ghostly activity that has spooked even the caretaker.
He explored the creepy mortuary that was shut down and abandoned in 2008, which he said was due to funding cuts from the NHS.
The mortuary has remained intact since, with log books detailing the names, ages and details of what the deceased possessed on them at the time they entered the mortuary, such as jewelry and personal belongings.
Ben spoke with the caretaker of the building, who stated that he refused to enter the building due to hearing disembodied voices at night when the building is supposed to be empty.
Other staff refused to enter the mortuary due to the eerie feeling and being convinced that it is haunted, which has left the mortuary untouched for years.
“We met the caretaker who said he doesn’t even want to go near the place because apparently he can hear voices at night, which is pretty insane,” he said.
“He said he won’t even go inside it and that’s why staff have refused to even clean it out.
“It was closed in 2008 due to funding cuts from the NHS and the mortuary has pretty much remained intact since.
“It even still has the book of all the deceased that states their ages, names and even what items they had on them when they got there such as jewelry.
“The place is very still and eerie. The fridge and the mortuary trolley were still intact.”
