Police officers with sniffer dogs raided a house in Nansledan, a town in Newquay championed by King Charles.

Footage from August 17 shows officers from Devon and Cornwall Police accompanied by dog handlers on Stret Kosti Veor Woles. The town's street names are all traditional Cornish language names.

Eyewitnesses reported the entry was forced with the door being broken by police officers to gain entry.

The town of Nansledan was an extension to Newquay commissioned by King Charles when he was Prince of Wales.

A 09:30 17th august 2023. A raid by several police officers of Devon and Cornwall Police force sees a door broken through and a number of individuals escorted to a police vehicle, officers are accompanied by specialist dog handlers and equipped with door opening equipment. This unusual event happens on King Charles own Nansledan new town still under construction and comprising 500 homes now with an eventual 4,300 when finished. It is designed in great detail as an exemplar of gracious and sustainable living. Nansledan is on the outskirts of Newquay. The home visited is on Stret Kosti Veor Woles as all streets have authentic Cornish language names. Devon and Cornwall Police have been contacted for information.
