Drone owner saves two kids playing at dam before sudden flood arrives
On August 18th, in Guilin, Guangxi, a video, captured by a drone, recorded the arrival of the flash flood and the filmer's brave rescue efforts.
In the video, a man noticed through drone footage that a distant flash flood was approaching and quickly yelled for kids near the riverbank to move to higher ground.
Worried that time was running out, the filmer rushed to the riverbank to assist. Thankfully they all managed to safety in the end before the flash floods hit.
The filmer kindly mentioned that the video was to make more people aware of the dangers of the shifting weather in the summer months and to avoid going to the river in the mountains.
