ULEZ cameras damaged in South-West London as air pollution measures come into force
Four ULEZ cameras were seen with visibly cut cables at the rear of the devices in South-West London as Mayor Sadiq Khan's air pollution measures come into force across all the Capital's boroughs from today (August 29).
Motorists driving non-compliant vehicles - deemed to be the most polluting, will now be charged £12.50 daily.
Opponents argue they charge will put strain on families already struggling with the cost-of-living crisis and add to extra costs small businesses cannot afford, though the Mayor of London says the steps are necessary to protect the health of Londoners.
