Large number of dead fish spotted in river in China
A large number of dead fish were spotted in a river in northern China.
The video was filmed in Guangping County in Hebei Province on August 27.
Local residents suspected that the river was polluted.
On August 28, staff from Handan Municipal Bureau of Ecological Environment said that the dead fish could not be eaten and they have taken the water samples for testing.
According to the preliminary judgment, the enterprises along the river did not discharge sewage so the pollution might come from the upstream flow. The upstream is now being checked.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
