A TikToker has been savagely roasted online for his “claustrophobic” bedroom set-up and the proximity of a fan that could lead to “decapitation”.

Angelino Barragan has gone viral on TikTok, (@hotxdelusional), with a video of his sleeping arrangements racking up 1.8 million views.

The 19-year-old explains that he is “pretty careful” when getting under the covers to avoid the fan – but has once grazed his foot on the blades.

But “swears” the set-up isn’t as bad as people think.

“The bed-fan issue came up when I bought a new bunk bed for my room", Angelino, who works at TacoBell, in Las Vegas, Nevada, NeedToKnow.co.uk.

“When I started building it, I originally wanted the bed on the opposite side but it didn't fit.

“Then I tried in the middle of the room, but again no luck.

“So the only way to have it was on the other side of the fan, in between that and the window.

“I’m pretty careful with the fan.

“I did have one incident where I was sticking my foot out the bed and it grazed my foot and scared me.

“But since then, I’ve made sure not to stick any body part out of my bed.”

In the clip shared to TikTok, Angelino captioned the video: “Guys I swear it’s not as close as you think.”

He then shares a visual of the fan and pans around it to show how close it is to the bed.

Social media users are not convinced.

The clip has over 116,000 likes as well as thousands of comments from worried viewers.

One person said: “ITS LIKE A BLADE” [sic]

Someone else wrote: “HOW DO U SLEEP IT LOOKS SO TIGHT.” [sic]

Jah joked: “Top bunk sleeping in a coffin.”

Adelia added: “My claustrophobic could never.” [sic]

“Why is it at CHOPPER speed is the real question,” said Addi.

“Nah that bunk too close to the ceiling,” wrote Slana.

“AND WHY IS IT SO CLOSE TO THE TOP MY CLOSTROPHOBIA WOULD NEVER ACCEPT,” added Emma. [sic]

“I hit my head on my fan all the time,” added someone else.

“I just know I would accidentally decapitate myself in the middle of the night,” said another user.

“WDYM ITS NOT AS CLOSE . BRO ITS CLOSE ASF,” wrote Moni. [sic]

Angelino isn’t bothered about the negative reactions but finds the whole thing “funny”.

He added: “I find the reactions funny, it’s so fascinating reading people freak out and stress over a bed I sleep in every night.

“I appreciate all the concern and comments for my safety but I don’t think they know how little of a threat my fan is.

“I’ve always had top bunks so I have experience sleeping near a fan like this one!”
