A woman was captured stealing a honey pumpkin from a market by hiding it under her dress in eastern China.

The CCTV footage was filmed in Shanghai on August 28.

A woman picked up a large honey pumpkin and, after walking a few steps, stealthily stuffed it under her skirt when she thought no one was looking. Astonishingly, she walked away as if nothing was out of the ordinary.

According to the market owner, the loss of a single pumpkin wasn't a big deal to him, and he chose not to report the incident to the police.

However, he expressed his amazement at the woman's audacity and skill, noting how she managed to walk without any noticeable discomfort or change in her gait after hiding such a sizable vegetable.
