Six dogs were seen neatly lined up and attached to IV drips in southern China.

The video was filmed in the city of Yulin in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on October 1.

The filmer, Mr Chen, explained that he shot the video during a visit to a friend's home.

His friend, a passionate canine enthusiast who houses over a dozen dogs, had treated the pets to five-nut mooncakes in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Unfortunately, six of the dogs fell sick simultaneously. This prompted an emergency call to the vet, who then administered treatment via IV drips.

Mooncakes, although delightful for human consumption, are laden with high levels of oil, sugar, and fat, which can be harmful to pets. Overindulgence can lead to digestive issues and discomfort for our furry friends.

据了解，月饼中含高油、高糖、高脂肪，对宠物有害。食用过多易造成宠物肠胃不适、消化不良的情况。宠物不可以吃的月饼成分有：葡萄干、巧克力、洋葱、木糖醇等。葡萄或葡萄干，吃了会导致宠物反复呕吐、对肾脏造成伤害，甚至引发急性衰竭、休克并导致死亡。巧克力会影响到宠物的神经系统和心脏功能，导致呕吐腹泻、心跳加速甚至死亡。洋葱含有破坏宠物红细胞的硫酸盐等成分，会引起贫血、血尿、呕吐、腹泻、发烧、流口水等症状。宠物吃了木糖醇之后该成分会很快地被血液吸收，并且可能会导致胰腺更多地释放胰岛素。宠物会出现呕吐、血糖降低，以及虚弱、肢体不协调等症状。
