"A massive Israeli airstrike targeted the Baptist hospital in Gaza last night. Doctors held a press conference among the piles of dead bodies in the hospital yard, and announced that over 500 Palestinians lost their lives in the attack on the only Christian hospital in Gaza. UN calls for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire as the crisis in Gaza is deepening, with aid still not allowed into the besieged territory.
The Israeli army blamed the attack on the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), and claimed that the incident was a result of a misfired rocket by Islamic Jihad fighters, while the PIJ denied such allegations, saying that eyewitnesses and proof confirmed that it was an Israeli airstrike."

"Also on Wednesday, U.S. President Joe Biden made a historic arrival in wartime Israel, the first trip to the country by an American president during a time of war, marking his most clear and strong public show of support for Israel since Oct. 7. Biden expressed outrage at the explosion in the hospital, but assigned blame to "the other team" and not Israel. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked Biden for the "unequivocal support" and "unprecedented" cooperation between the two nations."
STANDUP 3 (English): LI RUI, Xinhua correspondent in Cairo
"Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on Tuesday blamed the United States for fueling and expanding the Israel-Hamas conflict by adopting "unconstructive policies" and providing support for Israel to launch more attacks on the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry described the bombing of civilian facilities as a serious violation of international and humanitarian law, demanding Israel to immediately stop its policies of collective punishment against the people of the Gaza Strip."
