The World Energy Storage Conference 2023 concluded Friday in Ningde, Fujian Province.

During the three-day event, experts shared their expectations on international cooperation in the new energy industry and China's leading role in this regard.

"China has not only been a leader in technologies, in manufacturing, but also been a market leader, so in this context, I would say it has advantages, but advantages that should be harnessed to develop collaboration with other entities. China is a leader. I believe that it can help also in establishing standards."

"I think that we have a common goal when it comes to the climate. We want to reduce green house gas emission. So in California, we have a target to meet one hundred percent clean electricity by 2045, so today I learned in China we will meet carbon neutral by 2060, so we share a common goal. We will live on the earth, so we want a better environment. So I think this is a great opportunity for us to work together and address the environmental challenges."
