A rural sanitation campaign, jointly launched by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and Chinese government, has benefited the students and local residents in northwest China's Qinghai Province.
The project aims to explore the construction of safe, inclusive and cold-tolerant toilet facilities to improve the living conditions of local people and boost rural revitalization.

"Since 2021, UNICEF China and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs started a special sanitation project in Qinghai.
