Dr. Imtiaz Sooliman, The founder of Gift of the Givers, a South African based aid organisation has announced that he has assembled a legal team that will assist with the legal action against the Israeli Government for war crimes in Gaza. Sooliman was speaking at an event in Cape Town.

He was joined at the event by a Haya, a Palestinian from Gaza who spoke about her experience and encounters during the ongoing bombardment of the enclave in which she lost over fifty family members.

Gift of the Givers has already sent a number of trucks into Gaza during ceasefire and more aid is on stand by waiting fro safe passage to enter the besieged area. Late last month the head of the organisations Gaza office, Ahmed Abbasi was killed by an airstrike as he was returning from the morning prayer.
