Dozens of French tourists fled when their tourist bus caught fire in Thailand.

The visitors were on their way to a restaurant in Kanchanaburi province to have lunch on December 1 when the rear engine of the vehicle burst into flames without the driver knowing.

A passing motorist overtook and shouted at the bus driver to warn him of the danger as the blaze began to engulf the rear end of the bus.

The tourists were able to escape as firefighters battled the inferno, which took 10 minutes to extinguish.

There were no injuries or casualties reported.
