Airport cleaners took selfies on a passenger's lost camera before turning over the gadget to lost-and-found.

The staff had found the disposable camera left on an Asiana Airlines flight and snapped photos of themselves in the middle of cleaning the plane at the Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok, Thailand, on January 4.

One picture shows a man in a high-vis vest with the logo of Thai Airways - the country's notorious flag carrier which is partly owned by the government.

Another image shows a cleaner sitting in an economy seat while turning around and striking a pose with her right hand.

The camera was returned to its owner, who claimed it through the lost-and-found section. However, she was shocked to find that the camera roll had two extra photos she did not remember taking on her flight from Seoul, South Korea.

Writing online on January 4, the passenger said: 'I left my camera on the plane, but the officers took it and played with it. I only found it after I had the photos developed. Just because I left my camera behind doesn't mean they can mess with it.'

She added that she has filed a complaint with the headquarters of Asiana Airlines.

However, the South Korean carrier operating the Boeing 787 is not the company responisible for cleaning the aircraft and the complaint has be sent to Thai airport officials.
