Violent street fight between far-right members and Antifa breaks out in the middle of road in Greece
Caught on video: Violent street fight between far-right members and Antifa breaks out in the middle of the road in Greece - The situation occurred in the city of Thessaloniki in northern Greece, while hooded Antifa ambushed and attacked a group of far-right members carrying poles of flags.
The far-rights are seen walking while carrying their flags and standing on a pedestrian island waiting to cross the street. Suddenly individuals with covered face features appear from different directions, wearing full-face hoods and bike helmets. As can be seen in the video, they initially throw stones towards the far-right group while approaching them. Then hand-to-hand fight ensues in front of the astonished eyes of drivers and passers-by who run to escape the scene.
The Antifa members attempt to steal the flags from the hands of the far-right group but they resist, screams and shouts can be heard. In the video, a hooded Antifa can be seen charging into the brawl against one of the far-rights while a second Antifa holds a belt and whips him. The man fights back while holding a flagpole, and at one point he gets punched in the face. Seconds later a signal to flee is given, the Antifa pick up some of the flags lying on the ground and run to escape the scene
