The Commando Brigade of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is ramping up its efforts in the city of Khan Yunis, targeting militants and locating weapons and missiles in close-quarters encounters. Soldiers from the Commando Brigade are currently engaged in intense fighting in the densest areas of Khan Yunis, with a focus on operations in the western part of the city.

Soldiers and snipers from the Egoz Unit have been instrumental in eliminating militants in close-quarters battles, utilizing intelligence to raid infrastructure and uncover a cache of weapons, including mortars, combat equipment, means for underground warfare, long-range missiles, RPG missiles, and a '9K111 Fagot' missile.

The Commando Brigade Fire Control Center has conducted numerous operations, targeting observation posts and militants with precision strikes. Additionally, soldiers from the Maglan Unit successfully identified and tracked a Hamas cell responsible for firing an RPG missile at IDF soldiers. With the assistance of an aircraft, the cell was swiftly neutralized.
