On February 8, 2024, the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 11th Airborne Division, showcased their skill and readiness as they conducted a daring airborne operation into the Donnelly Training Area in support of Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center 24-02 near Delta Junction, Alaska. The mission, set against the harsh Arctic backdrop, aimed to train Soldiers and leaders to become a cohesive team of skilled, tough, alert, and adaptive warriors capable of combat and victory across the globe.
Amidst the extreme conditions of the Arctic terrain, U.S. paratroopers from the 3rd Battalion, 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment, descended onto the Donnelly Drop Zone, demonstrating precision and tactical expertise.
Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center 24-02 serves as a crucial platform to evaluate and enhance the capabilities of top-notch leaders and soldiers within the U.S. Army.
