Ten large parts of Airbus aircraft, including the nose, fuselage, and horizontal tail, carried by the "COSCO Shipping Libra" container ship, were safely unloaded at the Pacific International Container Terminal at north China's Tianjin Port on Wednesday.
The latest delivery marks a milestone with 700 Airbus aircraft's large parts unloaded with zero defect.
Airbus' first final assembly line outside Europe was put into operation in Tianjin in 2008.
In September 2023, Airbus broke ground on its second final assembly line in Tianjin to manufacture both A320 and A321neo aircraft, the newest single-aisle aircraft of Airbus, to meet surging demands.
