This is the shocking moment a hot-headed Australian motorcycle rider attacked a car that knocked him over in Thailand.

The Aussie Ratukore Jones Aganon, 40, slammed into the ground when he was rear-ended by a blue vehicle while switching lanes near the Bearing Intersection in Samut Prakan province on March 3.

Footage shows the ensuing road rage clash as Ratukore, from Brisbane, hurled a license plate at the terrified female Thai driver's car. He then tried to open the driver's door shouting 'You f****** hit my bike!' before raising his middle finger at her.

The Thai woman filed a report with the Samrong Nuea Police Station as she accused Ratukore of allegedly causing the accident intentionally.

She claimed he applied the brakes abruptly on purpose, resulting in the collision.

At the station, the furious Australian man insulted her, saying: 'You f****** idiot bitch. Has your boyfriend told you're a psycho? You're crazy, has your boyfriend told you that? I feel sorry for your boyfriend because you're crazy.

'Did you get that from your mum? You crazy b****! You're a psycho! You're gonna die alone.

'You stupid psycho b****. What are the cops gonna do, arrest me for yelling at you? No, because you're f****** stupid and a psycho.'

Police Colonel Wiroj Tatso, superintendent of the Samrong Nuea Police Station, said Ratukore was summoned to the station on March 4 to discuss compensation for damages to the alleged victim's car.

He said: 'The Australian man admitted his guilt and agreed to pay damages to the Thai driver.'

Police found that Ratukore was the subject of another complaint from a female driver in Bangkok.

The woman had been driving out of a condominium in Bangkok's Sukhumvit area on January 9 when Ratukore allegedly darted across her path on a skateboard.

He was reported to the police station after reportedly flipping her the bird and hitting her car.

Police have this month begun cracking down on misbehaving foreigners following the case of an alleged attack by Swiss businessman Urs Beat Fehr, 45, on a Thai woman who was sitting on his beachfront garden steps in Phuket. Officers in that region alone have arrested at least 20 in recent days and ministers have warned 'guests in the country' to behave.

Thailand has one of the world's worst road safety records. Ministers have set the goal of reducing fatalities from 32.7 deaths per 100,000 people to 12 per 100,000 people by the year 2027.

However, a lack of road safety education in schools along with notoriously easy driving tests, police failures to enforce road laws, and chronic under-investment in infrastructure, all appear to hamper the efforts.
