This is the heartwarming moment cats snuggled together to stay warm during chilly weather.

Pattariya Meesangkaew witnessed her eight pet cats cuddling on the floor of her house in Phetchabun, Thailand, on January 29, when temperatures dropped to around 15 degrees Celsius.

Footage shows the chubby felines of various colours, including black, orange, tabby, and tuxedo, are seen sleeping closely together on a floor covered with a small blanket.

Two furry creatures even lie on top of their siblings to share body heat.

Pattariya said: 'It's my first time seeing my cats snuggle together because of the cold weather.'

This behaviour is common among cats when they seek comfort and warmth, particularly during the winter season.
