STORYLINE:
Wood carving, a traditional Chinese art with a history of thousands of years. Yujiang, a county in east China's Jiangxi Province, is renowned for its wood carvings.
A 63-year-old Canadian artist, came here to explore Chinese intangible cultural heritage.

"I've always wanted to see China. Since I was a young boy, I've always been fascinated by Chinese art."
A year ago, Martin established a studio in Yujiang and collaborated with local wood carvers.

"This particular company does such fine work carving with beautiful, exquisite wood. We're going to work together, cooperate. I will design many of the different styles that are new and upcoming that can also show in Canada, America, Britain, Europe, all over the world."
Martin's latest work is the hand-made golf club, which integrates Chinese and Western cultures.
