A spectacular meteor shower illuminated the skies above Barcelona, Spain.
Footage shows a dazzling display of a beautiful sporadic meteor streaking across the Mediterranean sky on April 1.
The meteor, identified as SPMN010424K, entered at 11:55 p.m. UTC (1:55 a.m. CET), captivating observers with its vibrant hues and luminous trails.
Carlos Alcaraz Castrocorbera, from Corbera de Llobregat, captured the celestial spectacle in all its glory.
David Molner from Sant Celoni, Barcelona, and Lina Aguasca from Sant Fost de Campsentelles also witnessed the meteor's mesmerizing descent.
Despite its stunning appearance, the meteor efficiently disintegrated at an altitude of 80 kilometres.
