A man was spotted clinging onto a truck for dear life after the vehicle had collided with a bike and started to speed off down a highway in Hyderabad, Telangana.

After a few moments, the bike that was stuck under the truck's wheels became loose and was flung along the road.

Motorists on the highway were honking to get the driver's attention and try to bring him to a stop.

After around 2km, the truck halted and the driver was handed over to the police.

A truck driver drove nearly 2 km with a man hanging precariously on the vehicle's footboard after a row following a collision with a bike near Owaisi flyover, Hyderabad .The incident happened late on night April 14 ( Sunday ).The driver has been arrested by Police.

The trouble began after the truck, which was going from Chandrayangutta to LB Nagar, hit the bike while coming down the Owaisi flyover.

The video shows the man hanging for dear life on the footboard and the driver running for his life from the crowd at high speed. After a short distance, the bike comes out from under the front wheel with massive force, luckily without injuring the man on the left footboard or anyone else on the road.

The man on the footboard continues to tell the driver to stop, but he keeps going, all the while being filmed by two others chasing him on another bike.

It was only after travelling for about 2km that the driver stopped the truck. The locals in the area later handed him over to cops.


But as the crowd was aggressive, the scared driver instead chose to drive away, police said.

The biker, Majid, fell down and the bike got stuck under the truck's front wheel. The driver too stopped the truck. People who gathered at the spot asked the driver to get down.

As the bike was still stuck under the wheel, sparks began to fly as the truck moved. Unfortunately for the driver, a passer-by had by then jumped on the footboard.
