Corpus Christi and Brasenose College held their May Ball's on Saturday (May 4) night in Oxford, England with thousands of elegantly dressed students attending.

Both venues had marques and illuminated trails within their walls.

Each ball finished with a silent disco with singing filling the morning air.

The Brasenose College event ended at 5am on Sunday morning with students milling around Radcliffe Camera on Radcliffe Square.

A group were captured sitting on steps singing Grease's Summer Nights.

A few late leavers gathered in the square for an unofficial survivors photo as others took a rest on the pavement.

Gentlemen carried their partners home as others struggled to negotiate the cobbled streets in their heels with many resorting to comfy shoes or even going barefoot.

Some of those leaving were spotted with big boxes of cupcakes and were handing them out to fellow friends for a morning treat.
