In a significant breakthrough, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have located large quantities of weapons and extensive underground infrastructure in eastern Rafah, during precise operations conducted by the Givati and 401st Brigades.

The Givati Brigade, under the command of the 162nd Division, has been conducting targeted raids against terrorist operatives and infrastructure in the area. In recent weeks, the brigade has eliminated over 80 terrorists, while soldiers of the Tzabar Battalion discovered dozens of rifles, grenades, and ammunition during targeted raids. Additionally, the Givati Reconnaissance Unit located significant underground tunnel infrastructure, highlighting the complex network of tunnels used by Hamas operatives.

Meanwhile, the 401st Brigade has been intensifying operations in eastern Rafah, conducting targeted raids on terrorist infrastructure and buildings from which Hamas terrorists have fired at IDF troops. The soldiers have eliminated approximately 50 terrorists and discovered dozens of tunnel shafts, which are currently being investigated and dismantled.

The 401st Brigade has also destroyed hundreds of terrorist infrastructure sites, including weapons production facilities and ready-to-use launch sites. The brigade's Fire Control Center has been working closely with ground troops and the Israeli Air Force to target terrorist infrastructure embedded in the area.

The discovery of these weapons and underground infrastructure is a significant blow to Hamas's military capabilities in the region. The IDF's precision operations have not only eliminated numerous terrorists but have also disrupted the group's ability to plan and execute attacks.
