Egypt's Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Al Sayed Al Qusair said on Tuesday that Egypt exported the largest quantity of agricultural products in its history in 2023 as it amounted to 7.5 million tons, generating revenues worth $8.8 billion.
During a cabinet meeting, the minister pointed out that Egypt ranked first in the exports of orange and frozen strawberry.
In that context, he clarified that the value of fresh goods reached 3.7 billion U.S. dollars, while that of processed food recorded 5.1 billion dollars.
