Footage shows the hospital where up to 20 passengers are in intensive care today from the Singapore Airlines death plunge plane.

Medics at the Samitivej Hospital, seen in the video, are treating some of the casualties while others are being cared for at the Bangkok Hospital.

Staff said that five of the patients at Samitivej are preparing for surgery. An official also said that other hospitals have been asked to lend their best specialists to assist in the treatments.

Director of Samitivej Hospital Adinun Kittiratanapaibool said many of the casualties from the plane were waiting for spinal surgery.

Flight SQ321 from London Heathrow hit severe turbulence in Burmese airspace. The Boeing 777 then adjusted course over the Andaman Sea to make an emergency landing at the Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 21, shortly before 4pm local time.

British musical theatre director Geoff Kitchen, 73, was killed in chaos when he suffered a heart attack. His wife was also taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries.
