Rosie, a resident of the city and employed as an assistant headmaster in a private school in Lalgudi Thiruvalluvar city, was startled to notice a tail protruding from the AC unit. Initially mistaking it for a rat, Rosie cautiously approached, only to realize it was a snake's tail, prompting the entire family to flee in terror.

Rosy promptly alerted the Lalgudi Fire and Rescue Department. Responding swiftly, soldiers Raja, Sasikumar, Sakul Hameedu, Prabhu, Arunpandian, and Vijay, under the leadership of Lalgudi Special Fire Station Officer Prabhu, arrived at the scene. After a strenuous effort lasting about 45 minutes, they successfully rescued the snake unharmed and released it into the nearby forest.

Relieved after the snake's removal, the Rosi family regained their composure and re-entered the house.
