Police caught an alligator in the home of a centenarian grandmother in Florida.

Sheriff's Office officers Kopp and Johnson responded to the home of a 104-year-old woman near Atlantic Boulevard and Art Museum Drive on May 20 after receiving a report that a reptile had wandered inside.

Footage shows the cop being handed the 5ft-long animal and carrying it to the back of their truck for evacuation.

Officer Kopp said: ‘We can't cuff him.'

The licensed reptile handler, Mike Dragich, arrived and tackled the alligator to help the officers. He said to the animal: ‘See you later, alligator.'
