Deep-fried nine-inch long bananas are the snack you didn't know you needed
This nine-inch-long deep-fried banana comes with two scoops of chocolate ice cream - a snack that is proving hugely popular.
Footage shows a server from the store called 'Nine Inch Fried Banana' assembling the local variety of fruit onto a paper holder in Bangkok, Thailand.
The banana is wrapped in plastic and then pressed with a paddle to achieve the desired shape. It is then covered in batter before being deep-fried in boiling cooking oil.
Each banana cost 69 THB (1.48 GBP) and comes with a choice of ice cream flavour and chocolate syrup.
