China's contributions to the education sector in Zambia have significantly boosted skill development and fostered an entrepreneurial spirit among students, according to the Zambia China Old Students Association (ZACOSA).
Kingsley Kalusha, president of ZACOSA, said that Chinese support has greatly impacted Zambia's education system. He highlighted scholarship programs that have given Zambians the chance to study in China.

"Zambia has benefited greatly through the scholarships, and now if you look at the current status, in fact there are more self-sponsored Zambian students in China than there are those on scholarship. So there is that acknowledgment through the education exchange that has happened between Zambia and China that growth has to happen."
