A large amount of mud and rocks cascaded down a hillside in southern China's Shangrao City on June 27.

Eyewitnesses reported that the mountainside on one side of the highway suddenly became loose, followed by a torrent of mud, rocks, and trees rolling down like a flood, swiftly covering part of the road surface.

Faced with this sudden natural disaster, pedestrians and drivers urgently scrambled to evade, resulting in a chaotic scene.

According to preliminary investigations, the landslide may have been triggered by recent continuous rainfall. The infiltration of rainwater loosened the soil on the mountainside, ultimately leading to the landslide.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

据目击者描述，事发时，国道一侧的山体突然出现松动，随后大量泥土和石块夹杂着树木，如洪流般滚落，迅速覆盖了部分路面。面对这突如其来的自然灾害，过往的行人和车辆驾驶员纷纷紧急躲避，场面一度十分混乱。

经初步调查，此次山体滑坡可能与近期的持续降雨有关。雨水渗透导致山体土壤松动，最终引发了这场滑坡。
