A boy mistakenly ran through a glass door, causing it to shatter instantly and leaving him with cuts in southern China.

The CCTV footage was filmed in Ji'an City in Jiangxi Province on July 11.

According to reports, the incident occurred one evening when the boy, having finished dinner at his cousin's house, went downstairs to help dispose of garbage.

Unfamiliar with his surroundings and naturally energetic, the boy mistook a fully transparent glass door for a regular passage and ran directly into it without slowing down.

As a result, the door shattered upon impact, sending shards flying and causing minor cuts to the boy.

Fortunately, his injuries were not serious, with only slight bleeding, and he was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment.

Following the incident, the property management swiftly identified the boy through surveillance footage and contacted his parents to discuss compensation for the damaged glass door.

However, the boy's mother, Ms. Liu, has raised objections. While acknowledging her son's partial responsibility for the incident, she argues that the property failed to install any warning signs on the glass door, alleging negligence in safety management.

Currently, the matter is under further discussion and coordination.
