China: Heroic Rescue in Flooded Ancient Town
Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, China - July 01, 2024
Due to heavy rainfall in Xiangxi, the river levels rose significantly, resulting in severe flooding. In an Ancient Town, a staff member was swept away by the floodwaters. Fortunately, a kind-hearted man who was fishing nearby saw the incident and rushed to the rescue, ultimately saving the staff member's life.
This footage was filmed by Ms. Zhang, in Fenghuang, Xiangxi, Hunan, at 9:00 am, on July 1, 2024.
The footage shows the extremely turbulent waters, making it nearly impossible for the staff member to reach the shore alone. The swift and selfless actions of the rescuer were truly commendable.
